Denis and I posed for the cover of American Dog Magazine and the photographer, Heather Green, took some great photos. I think the mag comes out soon. I can’t figure out how to load the cover photo, but here are some shots that didn’t make it into the mag. First, me and my beloved Daphne. She’s actually alive, just dozing with her eyes open. Also wish I could photoshop the breakfast stains from her beard. Sigh.

And the pack:

Finally, himself, with the elf:

Sorry about the size of these photos. Having a hard time figuring out how to adjust from jpegs that Heather sent.
Ann, I think your pics turned out wonderful, the one of you and Daphne is so sweet, the family pic is adorable, and then the one of Denis and the elf, his expression and she apparently could care less as she is comfortable, relaxed and catching zzzz’s…..
I don’t know why those shots weren’t used but then again, I am not a professional photographer….
Will watch for the mag…
Kathie
Ann – you guys look fabulous. The photo in the middle feels/look like its the dead of summer – even with the sweaters on. I will have to look for the issue.
Saw this great show Friday night on Starz Channel – “Headcase”. It was hysterical. Sort of Larry David ish meets Second City. It was only 30 minutes but I thought it was incredibly funny. Has anyone seen it?
Nice pic’s my son loves Denis’s sweater the first shot is on your face book?yes? all the dogs look so comfortable, and I like the size of the pic’s,bigger better lol is it just me or does it look like Denis has a halo over his head in the windowin the second pic?
Great photos of you guys and the fur gals too. Hmm, is that an orange tree in the corner? Whatever it is – looks nice and healthy.
: )
What a wonderful team!
Dear Ann, Thank you for sharing these great pictures. I am a big fan of both of you and the extra bonus is that “elf” is such a duplicate of my little Beau(regard). Look forward to getting the magazine!
Great pictures! Love the backdrop through the windows.
Speaking of ‘himself’ – he was VERY funny at the Borgata last night, as was the rest of the crew. Must know…. was his hot tub story from your Florida trip real???
Dear Ann, the photos are stunning! Love the size of them…makes it very easy on my bi-focal eyes to see. If you don’t mind me saying, you are such a beautiful woman; Denis is very handsome; the dogs are so sweet! The expression on Lulu’s face is priceless, like she’s thinking “how much longer must I have to sit here like this??” Love the background colors of the white woodwork against the sun sreaming in through the windows. The color of Denis’ sweater looks so good in the overall scheme and I love the color of your top; I think that is a flattering color on you. So now I must buy this magazine when it comes out. I’ve never heard of it so thanks for the link.
I heard the show went well, Lisa, but wasn’t there, so I don’t know the hot tub story he told, but hope it was funny.
Great photos Ann!
I prefer them large as most of the internet ones end up without resolution to speak of and there is no detail. Some websites have the option to click and get them larger.
Thank you
Lupe
I love these pics especially the one of you with Daphne, You look gorgeous on it!!! They are all really nice!
The funniest detail in these photos is how your dogs pose still all together, as they were waiting for the shots. I couldn’t keep mine so quiet, that’s surprising, they seem to be actually aware of being part of a celebrities’ family and do their duties.
Ann…the pictures are awesome…you all look wonderful!!!
Wonderful and gorgeous! And you and Denis look great too! Will have to watch the news stands for the issue. How super fun!
Can you post Denis’s tour schedule, or a link? Would be fun to try to catch him in action. And have you trained the dogs so he can do a bit of a vaudeville act with hoops and balls? (my guess it that they would rather stay home in lovely and beautiful rural Connecticut, know I would!)
PLEASE Ann, let us know when that magazine comes out if you can!!! Would love to have it. Great pics once again. I wish I had a dollar everytime I told you that.
I saw Denis’ comedy show too, and please tell Denis that hot tub story was hysterical!! I will forever think of him, now when I get into my hot tub!!! You have to hear that joke. It has to do with William Dafoe a little bit. LOL!
Please thank Denis for the wonderful show, great t-shirts, and one of the best weekends of my life with my husband. I’m not kidding either. All of the guys were great and I’m very sad to see this weekend end.
GREAT photos! What a great pack!
Don’t worry about the sizing of them, with all the Rescue Me billboards I’ve been seeing around town, it would be weird to see you guys in “real time size.”
The pictures of you and your dogs are beautiful. We are heartbroken around our house. We had to put our beloved 13 year old Doberman to sleep last week. I feel like I have lost a child. I knew our family loved her but never dreamed how much pain we would have when she was gone. Hold your furry babies close and make sure they know they are loved!
Shelly, I just wanted to tell you how very sorry I am regarding the loss of your Doberman last week. I can understand your heartbreak and wish there was a way to ease the pain. They do add so much to our lives and it’s terribly hard to have to let them go.
Yes, Shelly, so sorry! It’s the hardest at the beginning. When you come home and they don’t met you at the door. WHen you see their bowl and it’s empty. Ditto dog bed. Put these things away asap. So sorry.
Shelly, what a terrible time for you. As all of us animal lovers know, it’s one of the worst feelings you can have. Wish there was something profound to say, other than that I’m so sorry for what you’re going through.
Shelly I agree with lisa there really is nothing to say our hearts go out to you and yours. You trully see how close they were to a family.
