The weather was gorgeous so it seemed EVERYONE was there. The streets were packed. My kids love the city and could not believe how many people could cross a street at one time! We also spent time in Time Square. I am still not used to the way they converted part of the street into an area for people to just ‘hang-out’ with tables and chairs. Did you see those circular-wooden things people were sitting in? The kids thought it was a giant basket minus the handle.

I just came back from NYC late last night. Manhatten is a vibrant city, more so than Los Angeles. I must say New Yorker are generally leaner and in better shape from all that walking. My pass and court issued document got me into every monument there is. Everyone is a speed walker. I had a view of Lower Manhatten that is stunning where I stayed. I would spend hours staring at it. I would climb abroad buses and descend into the subway. New Yorkers would stop and help me, holding a map. Times Square was a bit too much for me. I was scared to cross the street. I wouldn’t move, wathching all the traffic coming my way. The NYPD escorted me across the street. T The pedestrians are nuts, the drivers even so. A car stopped within inches of me, I felt like leaping into the air and landing on his hood and say “Deal with me.” Fab two and half we
