The Lift Trucks Gallery sent me this short video that they made of last night’s reading. If you don’t blink, at the very end, you will see me up at the mike. But as the others have said, the most fun was (for me) before the event, and (for them) afterward.
I arrived at our designated meeting spot, Tazza Cafe, and as one of the others stated, within minutes, our screeching and cackling and guffawing had driven the other patrons away. Most had arrived before me and Tracy very graciously offered to buy me a cup of tea and then we all got to gabbing, and honestly, it felt like I was with family.
Here’s stuff I learned about the people who went, that I hadn’t already known:
Barbara teaches at an inner-city school and she loves her students and some of them have gone on to compete on a state (national?) level in an academic competition, with her as the coach. They are “Team Sorenson!” She sent me a photo of the team with their trophies but it’s quite blurry. Hoping she’ll send another.
Aislinn’s parents are from Ireland and she’s used to a lot of swearing and foul language and sang a song for us involving brass cleaner and bollocks! It was funny, because she’s soft-spoken and feminine.
Bev’s brother (cousin? Oh, how I wish I was taking notes) is a famous footballer in the UK. Bev’s husband Mark was a very good sport for coming along.
Colleen is thoughtful and kind and recommended my friend Dani Shapiro’s book, highly. She had just finished it.
Tracy was quieter than I expected, but her laugh is booming and infectious.
Alan explained that “putz” and “schmuck” are even nastier words than most of us had thought. Oh yes, we got right down to some vulgarities, even bandying about the c-word at one point (It was me, sorry. It was a joke).
Wonderful Arliss and her husband Bruce live quite near me and Bruce is the published author of a cook book!
Lisa is funny and pretty and thinks she doesn’t photograph well, which she does. Lisa’s Tom, also a great sport.
KC (Ms. Brunch) and her husband Matt met us at the gallery and then went on to dinner with the rest of the gang. I met KC years ago when she was a kid. SHe’s not a kid anymore! Gorgeous.
Here’s a group photo, taken by Tracy:
Here I am at the mike. As you can see, I decided to convert my story into song and sing it for the group.
Well the group has been sending each other photos from past night and perhaps they will put them up on their Facebook pages. Thanks to all who attended, you were wonderful!

So weird that the video has been removed by the “user.” John and Yoko didn’t take theirs down (and I hear they were “users” as well. Hmmmm.
Wow, so much has been going on while I am away….You all look like you had a great time….
I feel like I missed out on a family reunion!!!!!
I am glad you all had a great time!!!!!
I love Vegas (must be all the shining lights) but more importantly, my son and daughter-in-law live in NW Vegas, so we go several times a year.
Kim, yes perfectly okay, everyone knows I’m in Eugene. How many West Coasters are we up to now?
Mary Lynn, true there are some great deals for Vegas, but being the Miss Addictive that I am, sadly I couldn’t safely go there (kind of like FaceBook) and get out alive.
Lynne, how far is Vancouver from Calgary? (That’s the only Canadian place I have a good mental picture of.)
Wish we had Alan over here to help us plan!
Mary Lynn-My in-laws used to be “snowbirds” and they wintered for a brief time in Arizona. When my kids were wee, I would fly with them to Vegas and we’d usually spend the night and then head out to Arizona to visit them. Therefore, except for a fantastic limo ride along the strip arranged by my Dad (another story), I have only “done” Vegas with an ambulatory pre-schooler and a baby in a stroller! I’m sure you could show me an entirely different Vegas!!!
Amanda- Careful what you wish for (only kidding—well kind of!). You have been warned about my obsession with most (musical) things country!
For a meeting venue, I can offer the Calgary Stampede and hiking in the Rockies!
Thanks again for ALL of the accounts of Ann’s event! And Ann, you were terrific!
Mary Lynn, I love the “Ocean’s” movies….even the original which had a totally different ending than the remake. Also, you got Michael Jackson, I have Dolly Parton who lives about a mile away from me. We actually go to the same doctor (no, not a plastic surgeon), and I love her. So if anyone is out the Nashville way I can give you the tour of the star’s homes then we’ll go downtown and hit the honky tonks. Ya’ll are invited.
Barbara — I missed the tugboat scene!!! But thanks for the “Funny Girl” alert — I love this movie too, and am watching the end.
I used to visit Las Vegas so much, and had so much fun, I finally just moved here. Granted living here (yes, people do live here) is not quite as much fun as visiting . . . still I thrill at a full moon rising over the strip view.
I’m a sucker for the bright lights.
Hey, a couple of days ago a mansion where Michael Jackson lived here in Las Vegas sold for over $3 Million dollars. I thought it was in the exclusive, gated “Spanish Trails” development, but turns out it is less than a mile from my humble (and I do mean humble) abode! Me and “the Gloved One” — nearly neighbors!
Vegas is a kick. Oh — required viewing for anyone coming to Vegas — “Vegas Vacation”, and “Casino”. Two of my favorite movies — oh, “Viva Las Vegas” and the original “Oceans 11″ is recommended as well.
Oh – How I wish Texas were not so far away…… Sounds like a wonderful time was had by all! I was there is spirit, and thanks to Tracy’s video – I feel like I was there!
Love the reading Ann, are you absolutely SURE it was fiction?
Oh—Funny Girl is on TCM tonight—they are up to the tugboat scene. Aislinn, I’m sooo ready for our ride….I promise not to sing too loudly. But I might bring flowers !!
I do love this movie !
Oh Mary Lynn, I’ll be in Vegas the last weekend in February; it’s a family surprise for my brother’s 50th birthday. He lives there and we’re all going to be there when he goes out to dinner. But I’m always up for another trip to Vegas !!!
Mary Lynn is now turning into a seductress………..very very tempting – Sin City eh?
Geez – I know we had a gathering in the east but it sure would be wonderful to join you folks in the west. Love, love, love California and meeting all of you would be unreal!
I live in Vegas . . . so if the West Coasters, (or everybody) wants to have a real throw down, say “the First Annual Wicked Good Book Club Symposium and Slot Tournament hosted by Ann Leary”, my vote would definitely be for Sin City.
There are really great deals for Vegas, these days.
Barbara: I will go back to “Rebecca” at some point. I read it many many years ago – I can’t remember 20 minutes ago unless it involves food so it will certainly be a new read for me. Yes – lets compare “Help” notes – I am curious what our views will be.
Oh my…..moving things along…..I finished Rebecca tonight. I’d forgotten what a wonderful pager-turner it is!!
If you haven’t read it yet, you must; it’s terrific.
Kim, I’m joining you in moving on to The Help. It was recommended by several colleagues and Santa put it under my tree. We’ll have to compare our reviews….Barbara
Kristin, I’m in Half Moon Bay (but Turtle Bay sounds pretty cool too.) For easier geography, I’m about 45 min. south of San Francisco.
To take a step forward – I gave Ms. “Rebecca” a ride back to the library. I read it years ago – maybe another time. “The Help” has been taunting me so I downloaded it on Kindle. Many of you have said its a page turner.
Kristin, I’m another West Coaster. I live in Anaheim, CA, just a few miles from Disneyland.
Aislinn – Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm again. Might be an interesting tug. Boat ride that is.
Kim, hell yeah! I’ve already got my stalking boots on. It’s June, right, Bev?
Hmmmmmmmmm…..Aislinn – cool photo of Bev’s cuz don’t ya think?
Okay Julie, let’s resume our talk of a west coast meet up. These east coasters are getting way to cocky. lolol. I guess what is needed is for all west coasters interested to state the city they are from. We need to geographically organize this. I’m from Seattle, and I know Julie (hope this is okay Jules) is from Eugene, Oregon. So, Linda S.? Lupe’s between San Francisco and LA, Catherine-Turtle Bay or Half Moon Bay? (I get confused) WHo else is out there?
Thanks everyone for the great commentaries and pictures. Tracy, how wonderful the video is. It all gave a real sense of the event. Well, almost.
Wow! What wonderful posts…completely jealous of the wonderful time you all had together. What a blessing to have such a fabulous time with clearly fabulous folks. I can hear the laughter…
Laughing out loud Tracy…….hehehehehehe
Aislinn you are a skinny Minny and a moo moo would drown you!!!
I can just see you in your laundry room sat wearing a thong eating a walnut whip! hahahaha!!
Bev dearest, I’ll be up then! lololol
found a link with a picture, he is the big fella going to head the ball, he is coming to stay with us for a while in June..:)

My Cousin Steve…

I will see if I ca find a link with a picture….
Bev, LOL! The walnut plays a very small role in the grand scheme of things. Tonight’s meatloaf was just tossed! Off to the 711 for some imitation Walnut Whips. That ought to “whip” me into shape for thong season. Did I say thong? I meant moo moo.
Wow – where to start?
Ann – Your reading was wonderful! You looked great (love your glasses) Thanks for giving us some background on our fellow bloggers who attended and for the small clip. I really got the feel of the event/space. Loved the group photo -It’s a fine looking group!
Alan – thanks for putting the names with the faces.
Tracy – Thanks so much for the video. You did a great job! I felt like I was in the room.
It was fun to read everyone’s comments about the evening. It sounds like you all had a BLAST and got along famously. Glad it worked out so well. I’m with Julie – when is the West Coast event??
And Mr. Bev Thatcher – What a nice post – well done! BTW, who is Bev’s famous UK footballer brother/cousin??
KC – about your jewelry. Do you sell it? If so, where? I love interesting jewelry and would love to see some of yours.
Question: To see more photos, do we go to your individual Facebook pages?
Linda S.
Tracy- Thanks so much for posting the video of Ann’s reading.
Thanks also to everyone else who attended the event and through your comments, made me feel like I was there. It’s obvious that you all had a great time.
Ann- Loved your reading.
I can’t talk my mouth is full…..

LOL! Bev – I figured that but then I thought again – thought it might be something terribly British that I had no clue of.
Walnut whip away – sounds dee lish!
XOXO
Ha! sorry Kim that was supposed to say “Walnut whip”… the phone rang as i neared the end of my post and i rushed to post it before i had checked my Typo’s!!
But a WALNUT WHIP is a Delicious english chocolate….. a cone chocolate thing filled with gorgeous cream and a walnut on top……. yum yum yum……..
Huh? Bev – whatever that is………does it hurt?
The responses below are just wonderful, Kim is right a MAGICAL evening! Aislinn still laughing at you and your laundry room hahahah!! Kim, the wine bottle’s… still peeing my pant’s laughing……
Mark my little submarine hero said it all so very well and i have to tell you he really did enjoy meeting each and everyone of you as I did…
How did we get so lucky to all have such a good time like that…I have been thinking of all of you all day and remembering funny quips and laughs… Tracy you are Hilarious and we really did laugh and laugh and laugh…… ( please noooooooo to posting my video) keep that yourself for a little giggle or blackmail either or..hahahahah… so funny the whole night, The idea of us swapping chairs and chatting more was wonderful and I too wish we had done that..time seemed to FLY by….
So from the bottom of my heart, you were all incredible, incredible people and I thankyou you making my world that much brigher on Saturday…..
smooches!!!!
ok off to eat a wlanut whip for dinner…
Bev, I’m with Kim, you’ve got yourself a real keeper there. Thanks so much for the thoughtful post, Mark. A Navy man! Now I wish we let you guys talk a little!
Mark, how wonderful of you to post. You are awesome, Bev is a very lucky girl. And you’re right, Ann was a brave lady for walking into the unknown with all of us at the coffee house. And she did it like it was completely natural.
You’re welcome for the video. Somehow I hit stop before the applause, which was quite loud.
Hmm, do I post the dinner video featuring Bev? I dunno, I may save that for blackmail material. lololol Just so you all know, Bev is even better appreciated in real life than in print.
Tracy-Thanks so much for the video of Ann’s reading1 I’ve only just viewed it!
Ann-I loved your words and your performance! THANK YOU!!!!!
Mark, what a wonderful post! Such a pleasure to read and so interesting. Thank you so much for taking the time to share your thoughts. Getting to know you a little bit through your note makes me regret even more that my husband and I weren’t able to spend more time with you and the rest on Saturday evening. And you play bluegrass? I love it! I see more future event themes lining up. Waterbury would be a good place for a get-together. I don’t know as much as I’d like to about WWII, but I’m drawn to the history of that era and I remember learning about Babe Ciarlo through the Ken Burns documentary “The War.” Anyway, thanks again for sharing with all of us.
Mark – what a lovely, lovely, funny post and so observant. Bev – he’s a keeper. Mark – how about those wine bottle pix! WHAT WERE WE THINKIN!!!!! All the hubby’s were fabulous. I wish my husband would have come along – I think he thought he would have been the only guy there. He said with his luck, all the guys would have canceled. He SO would have fit right in. Next time for sure. I sort of wish we did a musical chair thing that night because I would have liked to have spoken to each of you more. It was truly a magical evening.
Mark, Thanks for your great post. Well said. It was wonderful to meet you, and of course, Bev. I can understand why she left Bahrain to be with you. I, on the other hand, have yet to meet a man who will get me out of my laundry room, let alone another country.
Hold on to those sailor songs. There’ll be more get-togethers.
Thank you to everyone who has so beautifully recounted the events of Saturday evening. Mark’s post was particularly sweet, with the care he took to speak about each individual there, from the perspective of a loving husband. And with Tracy’s video, I *almost* remember being there. Sadly, for me, I wasn’t, but I can almost feel (all the way in California) the vibe of the cafe, the energy of the venue, Ann’s lovely spirit, Alan’s care and organizational skills, and everyone’s infectious humor and collective joy at being there. I’m so glad you all were able to go and had such a wonderful experience. Cheers!
Catherine
What a great evening you all had! Thanks to everyone for their posts and pics! It is almost (sob!) like being there!
Have a good week, everyone!
Thanks for identifying everyone in the photo, Alan. It’s nice to be able to put names to the faces. I enlarged the picture, and all I have to say is, what an attractive bunch!
Tracy, thanks for posting the video-it looks like everyone had a great time! Bev posted some great pictures on Facebook. It looked like so much fun!
Hello ladies, and Alan,
Sorry I posted this in the wrong spot before ..go figure
I’d just wanted to say thank you to Anne and this group for a really wonderful time on Saturday. I was lucky enough to accompany my beautiful wife Bev to meet you all and attend the readings at the Lift Truck Project. Just a couple of comments if I may: for the lady of the evening, Anne, I was impressed with the guts it must have taken to walk up to that crew by yourself and be so easy, comfortable and gracious as you were. It’s one thing to get up in front of a bunch of nameless faces like at the LTP, but to come before your fans whom you have never met before… I would think that is the scarier of the two. You can always blend into obscurity among the other readers at the LTP but these people know something of you and have expectations. I think you confirmed what everyone already felt about you. A very intelligent, beautiful, and gracious lady and it was my pleasure to meet you.
Barbara, I taught in the Navy for ten years, and I loved it, but to teach the kids that you do, I can’t help but wonder if I would have the guts, patience or compassion that you show. To hear you speak of them is truly inspirational. I know a lot of these kids, with the odds that are stacked against them, have slim to no chance of success, but having a beautiful math teacher like yourself, who actually gives a …’hoot’, is surely a big plus for them. Kudos for you.
Aislinn, I know some good old sailor songs that I thought could make you blush but after hearing the Brasso and Bullocks song…hmmm. Eh, I think I still know a couple that might do it got the C word in them and everything..Hey I was a sailor, that’s how I landed Bev..And I was thinner then…a lot thinner
Tracy, I admired how you went up to the authors and just told them how you felt about their readings when you saw them. I’m sure they really enjoyed that too. I know it means a lot to them to receive positive feedback. I like your laughter too.
Kim, quiet as a church mouse at the Tazza except for when Alan kept taking pictures of you. I almost spat my coffee out when you asked him? “Why do you keep taking pictures of me?” I still giggle thinking about it. Also you were so much fun at the restaurant. Love the earrings and the statement they make! We won’t even get into the red and white, hey I’m totally with you on that. It makes perfect sense to me.
Arliss, I’m sorry I didn’t get to speak to you or your husband. You two were at the far end of the ever-expanding block of tables that we sat at and it’s too bad you had to get back for the babysitter. The dinner was fantastic and you were missed. You two seemed really nice.
Colleen, there’s a lot going on behind those smiling eyes. I wish I could have spoken with you more. Also, your husband and I have got to get together and jam. A bluegrass jam is not complete till the guy with the double bass shows up. Somebody has to hold down that bottom. We shall have to get together soon. Blue Back square is right smack dab in-between us, plus tons of other good stuff in Hartford that we can to take advantage of. And, you may think Waterbury‘s not much but it’s Brass City and the home of Babe Ciarlo. (You’d have to be a History/WWII Geek to understand). I like it.
KC and Matt, what a couple of sweethearts. KC I love the pic of you giving Alan a kiss. His face says it all. You are a beautiful woman and I really hope the horse boarding takes off and then you can move onto the next stage of life. I think you’ll do quite well at that. I was so sad to hear about Midnight. Horse women are special; just ask our lil’ Autumn As for Matt, I really enjoyed sitting next to you. Cool guy for sure. If Anne’s Dennis hears what a good Goalie you were in College you’ll probably end up in a special guest appearance skating on the Leary Rink in no time. I really enjoyed your stories. I just hope I never have to see rhinestones at the beach or at a pool any time in the future
Allan, the man behind the curtain, who made it all happen. It was a pleasure meeting you. You set everything up and made it all happen. I guess that’s par for the course for a city planner. Everything went off without a hitch. All I can say is well done. As for your place amongst the ladies of Anne’s Blog..I guess there always has to be one rooster in the hen house..wink wink nudge nudge
Lisa and Tom, I saved you two for last because you were the first we were lucky enough to meet . You are such a kind and nice couple. I really wish we could have spent more time together. Lisa you have such beautiful smile and infectious laugh. You really made Bev happy meeting you. I’m so glad you decided to come up. Tom is cool. I met a bunch of surfers out in Southern Cal when I was stationed in San Diego a looooong time ago, and Tom is definitely a surfer dude. Great big barrel chest and big arms, must be from constantly paddling out beyond the waves. Too cool. We really hope to see you guys up here again.
As for the lift truck Project itself. I thought it was really interesting. I’m a little old and curmudgeonly to appreciate the performance art of the band. I would rather have had a nice Bluegrass or Caelli band, or if you must be artsy/Jazzy then a nice Gypsy swing ensemble, but those guys…not my cuppa tea. The readings, some were really great, interesting, entertaining and thought provoking. Some however were, at least to my limited intellect, not. Just a matter of taste I guess. Anne’s was definitely one of the good ones. I like a story, I like to get pulled into something and get something out of it. There were a few writers I really enjoyed.
Well I have rambled on enough, this is Bev’s stomping grounds and I respect that. She doesn’t go posting on my picking buddy websites and that’s probably a good thing. I just wanted to say thank you to all for being so great and to let you all know what a wonderful time we had.
Cheers, ayup duck.
Mr. Bev Thatcher
Important Update:> > > Sarah Palin arrived in > Tahiti today to help with the relief > efforts.
Thanks for sharing…you all seemed to have had a great time. Ann your reading was wonderful!!. Wished I could have attended. Well it’s Monday, back to work, although I feel like I haven’t left. Good thing I love my job…Have a great day everyone!
Thanks for posting the video and pics, looks like it was fun. Did i hear there was a wine table? Man, I really wish I was there.
Not much more that I can add to the descriptions of Saturday afternoon’s/evening’s festivities, except to say that it was a pretty remarkable time with a pretty remarkable group of people.
For those interested in assigning names to little tiny faces in the group photograph above, the cast of characters is as follows: Front row: Kim, Tracy, Bruce (Arliss’s husband), Arliss, and Barbara. Back row: Beverley, me, Colleen, Ann, Aislinn, Lisa, and Tom (Lisa’s husband). Bev’s husband Mark took the picture.
A special shout-out to the husbands: Bruce, Tom, Mark, and Matt (KC’s husband). All of them are great guys! Also, a thank you to Colleen, my road buddy for the trip.
And finally to Ann, thank you for being the unwitting materfamilias of this community.
Sounds like everyone had a great time! I love the group photo. That coffee house has no idea how fortunate they were to have you host your gathering there!!!
I knew I was going to leave somebody out and damn it, I left out Kim! How could I have done that? Lovely, funny Kim, mistress of the three gorgeous shepherds. Kim is very funny, as we all knew and told us of the sad story of how one of her dogs lost his leg and the happy ending that goes with it.
Did I leave anybody else out. SO sorry Kim!
Thank you everyone for the updates and recap of this amazing evening. It sounds like an experience of a life time. Glad it was fun and positive. When are “we” planning a West Coast version?
Kim, thanks for the kind words about Axel, he truly is beautiful (and when he’s clean he’s soft and fluffy too). “…all the other little pirates” was a perfect way to describe the rest of our pack. Only one lives here with us and Axel, the two tiny ones are our grand-dogs, but they both visit quite a bit. Do I wanna trade? Yes, I’d love to, but sadly I am not entirely in charge of ANY of them! They’d all be up for a visit though.
I love the photos and Lisa and Beverly’s photos are great too! Sounds like it was a great time, I wish I could’ve attended. I’m happy everyone met and had a great time!
Great video too! Thanks!
I just sent my photos (they are probably huge files, sorry, I’m on Matt’s DJ/ Music computer so I can’t find the damn thing to downsize the pics), and I think it’s a good recap of the evening we had! I’m bummed I missed out on the coffee house, but Ann took a few moments with me at the gallery to chat, which she certainly didn’t have to do since she was in demand!
BTW Ann, Matt said he wasn’t sure who you were in the room, and then he spotted you, thought you were gorgeous and said, “That’s gotta be her!” This was after I had sent him to the wine table twice, and Tracy went once! Did I just admit to that? Oh well, Kim made her own wine at the dinner table, so I’m in good company!
When’s the next event??
Thank you, Tracy, for the video. I almost feel like I was there, after seeing the photos, reading about everyone’s experiences (well, I don’t think Alan has chimed in yet,) and seeing this video of Ann’s reading. Very entertaining, indeed!
Oh, I love your scarf Ann!!
Tracy, that’s so nice of you, thanks. Likewise! I regretted very much not being able to spend more time with you. Bruce had a really nice time too.
“Quit,” that is. Sheesh.
OK, I promise to quite with the smiley faces.
::::restraining:::
One thing that I think must be emphasized:
In person, Ann has the most fabulous HAIR! Seriously!
lololol Arliss. Yes, they didn’t know what hit them. Especially after Barbara, Kim, & I got there and took over the 3 tables that were open at the time, and then just sat there, the 3 of us, for more than 1/2 hour! lololol
I’m so glad that you took the plunge and came out with us. You and Bruce were so great, it would have been wonderful to spend more time with you.
Tracy, so funny! — how could the lime-green garden gnomes have been overlooked? And all the talk of drag queens unmentionable words … good grief, no wonder we got some frightened looks from the unsuspecting locals!! xoxo
First, wonderful recap Arliss. But you forgot about the lime green garden gnomes flipping the bird! lololol Laurel and Hardy? hehehe And I know we scared those small town folk with talk of drag queens.
I’ll start by saying that at dinner we reflected on how incredibly lucky we were to have this wonderful time together. We all said that we wished that all of you could be there with us. You were in our thoughts.
‘Oh what a night’, to quote one of my favorite 80’s songs. A night I don’t think I’ll ever forget. Everyone was fascinating and fun. Even the husbands (who I’m sure weren’t thrilled to be dragged along) fit in perfectly and had a great time. I’ve said it before, Ann attracts a certain kind of people, that when they get together, get along famously.
Alan is not only the Man of the Blog, he is The Man. He planned all 3 stages of our evening down to a ‘T’, and it went perfectly. Colleen C is not shy everyone, ok? It was an attribute given to her mistakenly. And Arliss isn’t as shy as she said. Lisa and Tom, so great to meet you, you were so much fun. Aislinn, you were great, I wish I had had a chance to talk to you more.
KC and Matt, you are beautiful together, and are so much fun. It was great to finally meet you. I loved ‘Shut the front door!’ hehe Much classier than I would say.
Bev, I adore you and Mark. You are a perfect couple. As I said, only 1 other person in the world can make me laugh as hard as you did, and I loved it! I swear to God, those girls in the bar thought I was choking to death twice because I was laughing so hard I was coughing.
Bev, I dedicate Lady Gaga’s song Shake your Kitty to you. It was one of the songs on my ipod on the drive home today. I will forever think of you now when I hear it! lololol Take a listen:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QWyt2IWGFiA
Actually Sandra, I did videotape it in the hopes that Ann would ok posting it for all of you to see. I just got her ok, so here you go:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pOrTDteEGOY
Ann was fabulous at the reading. At the coffee house, she was even more down to earth, charming, and real than she is on the blog. It was just delightful sitting there chatting. The topics were all over the place, I had forgotten the ones she mentioned above. Oh, and she’s also even more beautiful in person than in any of the red carpet photos you’ve seen of her.
Ann, I think I was quiet because I couldn’t get a word in edgewise! lololol Ok, I have to admit I was tickled pink when you got to me and knew who I was. lolol I guess that’s the benefit of sending you the pictures from the first Blogapalooza and the photo contest that didn’t pan out. Thank you for spending so much time with us at the coffee house. That was very gracious of you, and we all appreciated it.
Fun to see the small clip of last night’s event. I really liked seeing the venue, because that wasn’t what I had pictured in my mind. I am so glad everyone had such a great time, and I am sure I am not the only one who wishes she could have joined you. Looking forward to seeing more photos. Did anyone videotape Ann’s reading?
It was a wonderful evening. This is the fastest and easiest way to reach all of you and let you know that there is a problem with my facebook account. It says that my account has been disabled, because I need to be a high school student to get into some high school account. HaHa…like I’m still in high school and would want to join a group like that !! Anyway…I haven’t unfriended anyone or anything like that. Please stay in touch by way of email and I’ll keep you posted.
